Blade Runner
A film that has caught our eye for inspiration is the cult classic Blade Runner. Made in 1982 it depicts the future as a place that could sample the retro past references alongside the futuristic life. We love how it uses futuristic, modern fashion paired with more retro fashion to create interesting and unique ensembles that portray an idea of the future. Also, the punky edge of some pieces such as dog collars add a bit of angst and reference the time in which it was made. What we love about this film is that it portrays an idea of what the future could be, which is exactly what this sixth issue of Third Floor intends to do.
