Our latest shoot for issue six of Third Floor saw us collaborating with an amazing artist called Jenny Lee, and incorporating her digital skins into our shoot...

Tziporah Salamon

Last week the team also had the opportunity to interview Tziporah Salamon. For those who do not know Tziporah is described on her own website as "a dresser" who dresses not only herself but also other people. "She elevates the act of dressing to an art form by attending to detail - she notices color, texture, scale and proportion and puts things together in a most unique way. Her creations are not only beautiful but also harmonious and totally original. Tziporah never fails to surprise, delight, intrigue and inspire".
The interview was a real success, Tziporah answered all questions in a huge amount of detail, giving us a lot of content to work with. It also showed to us how vast her experience in the industry truly is. Everyone at the interview felt involved in it by her, she was such an inspiring person to interview for the publication.

Cute Circuit

Cutecircuit, one of the leading innovative brands who immerse themselves in creating spectacular wearable technologies, warmly welcomed us into their creative office space in Shoreditch on Thursday.

Sat round a circular white table, Francesca Rosella the Chief Creator Director and Ryan Genz the CEO enthusiastically answered their thoughts throughout the whole interview, which focused on them as a brand and how the future is affecting the fashion industry. We were truly spoilt as they lined up some of their couture and ready to wear garments on a rail for us to see a spectacular sight of LED lights generating the magic within each wearable garment.

From the Hug Shirt, to the Twirkle dress that reacts to the body movement and to the Alien top which illuminates through strong light, we were delighted to see these masterpieces in action. It was a visionary delight as we interacted with Nicole Scherzinger Twitter dress, completely in awe of the creative mindset behind each piece as each garment dazzled in an array of colours and patterns.

For Cutecircuit, their vision is to see all boxed technology one day transfer on to garments, becoming part of what we wear which is wearable, comfortable and lasting. This really highlights where fashion is heading in the future as we begin to live in a digital augmented world. - Lizzy, Features Editor.

Black Milk Interview

On Tuesday night, our project manager Hannah conducted a Skype interview with Cameron Parker, Brand Manager at Black Milk, the clothing brand based in Brisbane, Australia. They are a very 'online' brand and utilise social media heavily for their promotions and communicating with their customers. Hannah and Cameron chatted about everything to do with the brand, and what they see for the future of fashion, full details of which will be featured in issue six of the Third Floor publication, releasing in June. It was a fantastic interview and you should definitely pick up a copy of the publication to read the full article, however we are giving you a little sneak peek video of the chat in a few days time via our YouTube channel, so stay tuned for details of that video soon!
